Baby Journal: T.Y. Lookbook Parts 1 to 5

Jam received a lot of clothes on her birthday party. As our "Thank You" to our guests, I won't be sending cards but will be posting pictures of Jam wearing some of the things that they gave. I must say, friends, you all have good taste in clothing! I can't post every single gift (some will only fit her when she turns 2) but still, I'd like to send my big thank you to everyone who came to the party. We are blessed to have friends like you!

Eventful: Jam's First Birthday!

I wholeheartedly said to myself, "I'm so glad it's over!" when the last batch of guests left. This was one of the most exhausting parties I & my family together with neighbors who helped (Thank you!) had ever prepared and attended. I'm proud of myself for delivering the event within our alloted budget but I'm totally grabbing the party away-from-home option next time. Anyway, the guests enjoyed, we're able to come together as family and friends, and the kids had a blast.

Baby Journal: A Heart-melting Bedtime Ritual

This 30-second video of Jam puts a lump on my throat.

She wants to see her Daddy before she goes to sleep, she crawls to the laptop before bedtime. She thought he's really online talking to her but that's a little impossible for Kp to do because it's still his work hours in Dubai when it's already nighttime here in Manila.  What's on the laptop screen is actually a recorded video made by my husband that I play on loop.

Foodie Round-up: Green Juicing & Green Puffing

I ran out of green juice so I tried a green smoothie instead. Yeah, I drink the packed ones sometimes. I know the essential enzymes maybe lost by the processing and packing process but what the heck, they're better than none when I'm too lazy to make the real one. By the way, it's my new hobby to convince people to turn to green juicing. You were warned.

I tried Parsley Passion Smoothie from the Green Smoothie Revolution today. It's made of pasley(duh!), cucumber, apple and banana. I'm surprised that I didn't taste the parsley's strong flavor but I'm still not comfortable drinking something pulpy. I'll probably just squeeze out the juice of the other half of this recipe instead of drinking the whole thing again.

Eventful: Jam's 11th Month!

Eleventh heaven, is there such a thing? I guess there is. We feel so blessed to celebrate another month with Jam. She can stand now with support and can even go up and down our bed. She also makes her gigil face everytime she's excited. Tell me, what's the English for gigil? :)

Baby Journal: Jammy's Crushie

Jam is smitten by Huggies diapers' baby model. Her eyes light up and she keeps on smiling whenever she sees the baby's pic at home and at the grocery store. She has good taste, yes? Too bad, Huggies is changing their packaging now. Don't worry, Jam, we'll be saving the wrappers!
